School's over and it's exactly 1 week from the craziness at scon again this year!
So I thought I should update on cosplay news for once ;

I'll be there April 21-24

ANNOUNCEMENT: Last year of cosplay...

---

Yes, it's likely this year will be my last year cosplaying...

Don't really think anyone actually cares too much, since I haven't been too active lately either ;
One of my friends thought I shouldn't say "quit", I guess it's true,
so let's call it indefinite hiatus, for now at least.

It's sad though, because it's not that I'm stopping due to my age (it's part of it) or that I dislike the idea of cosplay itself...
but it's only a hobby for me, and I just don't have the money and time for it anymore.
I'd rather spend those on my music, which is not a hobby, but my passion.

But I'm still keeping to my word that the day I cos Cloud Strife, will be the day I properly graduate from cosplay.
So, who knows, until I get to do that, maybe I'll still cosplay, sometime in the future?!

I still have a SHXTLOAD of cosplays on my list...orz|||

SAKURACON @ Seattle: April 22-24: Schedule

Since AE is gone this year, I'm definitely putting in my all for this one!
Especially with the above decision, I cannot allow myself to prepare poorly this year >

Dates and progress are as follows!:

Thursday. April 21:

- A previous cosplay.... 100%
Depending on my mood, I might actually dress up to walk around since I'm arriving in the afternoon this year instead of nighttime. It'll just be someone I've cosed before, but haven't worn to scon (there are only so few so you can guess?!) haha

Friday. April 22:

- Nura Rikuo [night] (Nurarihyon no Mago) 100%
Have a small group this day! Got a grandpa and grandma (Nurarihyon + Youhime), and a Yukionna. Personally this one I look forward to most, just because it's my first time cosing a JUMP main char

Saturday. April 23:

- Kisaragi Jin (Blazblue) 10%
Big group on the big day! Our group have: Jin, Noel, Ragna, Hakumen, Litchi, Taokaka, Arakune, Valkenhayn. Still gonna be recruiting more so if you wanna join us, drop me a comment!

Sunday. April 24:

- Death the Kid (Soul Eater) 10%
Might likely be alone, the pending Maka is...gone somewhere. lol. Someone join me! I'm lonely! (only if you're symmetrical )

MiniComi @ Vancouver (Saturday, July 23)

My anime song cover band, Final aNiX, has confirmed we'll be playing at the new mini-con on July 23rd!
We'll be playing a FULL ONE HOUR SET, so in other words, we're playing a one-man show

That's right, ONE MAN! It's been quite some time since I've done a one-man, though this is only 1 hour, it's still gonna be kickass
We'll be bringing you songs you'll recognize from popular anime series!
Some are gonna be from our old list, some completely new, so please look forward to it!

People from outside Vancouver are also very much welcomed! Because...
Admission: Free for attendees!!

"MiniComi is a 1 day artists market inspired by those in Japan(eg. Comiket), held on Saturday July 23rd, 2011 in the Ballroom of the Student Union Building at the University of British Columbia. Artists will bring a wide variety of items for sale. This may include self published comics, doujinshi (fan comics),doujinSoft(we're hoping), prints, pins, jewelery, plushies and many other creative things that only artists and crafts people (crafty people?) can think of. We are currently seeking artists for our market. "
